From its commencement, there were separate Mens and Ladies Clubs, a situation that remained until 1993, when the two merged. Until then, the Club was managed by a Golf Committee that was chaired by the Club Captain. The President was a ceremonial position which presided over General Meetings. Normally, the President was the immediate past Club Captain. The Ladies had their own Committee, with their Captain being the Chair.
In 1993, a Board to manage the assets and affairs of the Club was established. The Board elected its Chair, who also assumed the office of President. Golf was managed by the Golf Committee which was chaired by the Club Captain. The position of Ladies President was also discontinued at this time, but they retained their Golf Committee, chaired by their Captain.
In 2008, the two Golf Committees came together as a single Committee, with a Mens Captain and a Ladies Captain.
