The major events are the Hutt Cup and the Boulcott's Farm ProAm. These are Open tournaments.
The major Club events are the Club Championships, Wilford Cups, St Andrews Cross and Medal, the Presidents Cup and the Two up Club.
The Hutt Cup is an open tournament over 36 holes, medal play and is contested by the top Men and Women in the District. It has traditionally been played on Wellington Anniversary Day.
The Boulcott's Farm ProAm is a new event and is normally scheduled for late January / early February. It is open to teams of 3 and each team plays with one of the Professionals. The format is 18 holes of medal play, with prizes for both individuals and teams.
Club Championships comprise either 18 or 36 holes of medal matchplay, withn the top 16 qualifiers in each grade progressing to the Matchplay competition. Play is off the stick, and is generally played in the late winter/spring period.
The Wilford Cups are fourball, best ball match play events and generally run from Autumn through to Spring.
The St Andrews Cross and Medal are single matchplay events played off handicap and generally run from late Autumn through to late Spring.
The Presidents Cup is a four person team event, played in a knockout format. Each team plays singles and fourball matches over 18 holes, off stableford points.
The Two up Club is for all members who score a two during the year. Entry into the daily Twos is $2, and $10 is paid for each two scored. At the end of the year, all members who have qualified, are invited to play in the Two up Club tournament at the end of the year.
